What is the difference between a meeting and a recording?

Dive AI offers features for both live meetings and recorded meetings. Here's what you need to know about the differences between the two:

Meetings

A meeting is when you have a normal meeting on Zoom or Google Meet, and if you've connected your calendar, you can open the Dive tab. There you can collaborate on notes and agendas, take private notes, and assign action items.

Recordings

A recording is when the Dive bot has joined the meeting and is recording. After the meeting, you can access a transcript, AI-generated summaries, notes, and auto-assigned tasks.

Access to Dive during meetings is available for free forever. However, access to recordings is only available on Dive Pro. Every team gets a 10-meeting free trial on Dive Pro. If you upgrade, only paid Recording seats can initiate a recording.

We hope this helps you understand the difference between Dive AI for meetings and recordings. If you have any questions, please contact our support team.
