Managing when Dive joins your meetings

When Dive joins your meetings, the bot will record your meeting and then generate a meeting transcript, summary, and action items. Plus, you can open up the Dive tab for a collaborative agenda, to take notes, and to send emoji reactions.


Managing when Dive joins your meetings from the Automation settings


Click on the Automation tab. At the top of the page, you will see a section called "Automatically Record Meetings". If the tab toggled to "off", you will manually add Dive to each meeting.


When the tab is toggled "on", you can choose which meetings you want Dive to join from the drop down option. You can change this setting at any time.


Managing when Dive joins your Google Meet meetings

In order for Dive to join your meeting, you will need to install the Dive for Google Meet extension. Learn how here.


When the extension is downloaded, you can join your Google Meet meeting like usual.

Click on the purple Start Recording button on the bottom of the screen to initiate the Dive bot.

When Dive has joined your meeting, you will see the Dive bot pop up like a participant. Dive is now recording your meeting! You can click “Stop Recording” any time.


Managing when Dive joins your Zoom meetings

Make sure you have connected Dive to your Zoom account. Learn how here.


After you join your meeting in Zoom, head over to your Dive meeting dashboard and select your meeting from the list. Your meeting agenda will open.


Click “Start Recording” on the right side.

Dive will request to join your Zoom meeting. Allow the Recording Bot to enter the meeting.

When Dive has joined your meeting, you will see the Dive bot pop up like a participant. Dive is now recording your meeting! You can click “Stop Recording” in the Dive dashboard any time.
